The ERPro-8 router sends data through Ethernet LAN with 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s speed. The Ubiquiti devices support the following protocols: BGP, OSPF and RIP-1 as well as the following management protocols: Telnet, SSH and SNMP. It can act as a DHCP server.

The device is equipped with 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 RJ-45/SFP ports and a console port. It is IIEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3u. standard compliant. It uses 802.1x RADIUS, SSH algorithm for encryption. The router uses a dual MIPS64 processor.
