VMware vSphere Standard software (VCF-VSP-STD-8) is one of the key solutions in server virtualization, which enables organizations to run and manage virtual environments in their data centers. This license is intended for companies that need basic virtualization features but do not require the advanced tools available in higher versions of vSphere.
vSphere Standard allows you to run and manage virtual machines (VM) on physical servers, which enables efficient use of hardware resources. With VMware vCenter Server Standard, you can manage multiple hosts and virtual machines from one central point. vSphere Standard offers features such as VMotion, which allows you to migrate virtual machines between physical hosts, improving application availability and reducing downtime. Additionally, it includes basic memory management and resource optimization tools.
VMware provides various security features as part of vSphere Standard, including encryption key management and resource access control. More advanced protection mechanisms are available for higher licenses, but basic features are also available in the Standard version.
