By purchasing a User Client Access License, the assigned user can access it on any device - including their home computer while working within  the home office model. The license can be installed both on a desktop computer and on a mobile device.

How does the license work?

A Client Access License is needed to access the Windows Server software. It is possible to choose from one of three options:

• User CAL – a license assigned to a user which allows access from any device that has Windows Server installed
• Device CAL - a license assigned to a device and allowing access only from the said device
• External Connector – a license that grants external users the access to the server software that prefer user access flexibility rather than connecting the license to specific devices.
