High-level Security

Copilot respects security policies and data access permissions implemented in your organization, ensuring users can only access information available to them. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced advanced security measures to ensure your data is secure:

1. Customer content is protected so that data from your organization is not shared outside thanks to Entra ID authorization.
2. Microsoft uses multi-layered encryption strategy that includes technologies like BitLocker, Transport Layer Security (TLS) and more.
3. Data accessed through Microsoft Graph specific for your organization is not used for the purpose of training foundation Large Language Models (LLMs).
4. Copilot preserves sensitivity labels set in Microsoft Purview to ensure that only authorized users can access the information.
