AF-5X – designed for efficiency
The AF-5X device from the Ubiquiti AirFiber modular radio system series is a combination of revolutionary technologies and affordable price. A modular construction facilitates the transmission efficiency on the level of wireless bridges.
The solution is intended for outdoor use. It works in the 5 GHz band achieving 500 Mbps bandwidth levels.
The antenna uses RP-SMA connectors. Because of its compatibility with a variety of Ubiquiti antennas it provides versatility. The AF-5X works with: AF-5G23-S45, AF-5G30-S45, AF-5G34-S45, RD-5G30*, RD-5G34* (*Additional performance available with RocketDish to airFiber Conversion Kit).
The installation of the AF-5X is easy and intuitive. The installation does not require the use of specialised tools.
The AF-5X guarantees a high quality connection. It works in the 5.1 - 5.9 GHz band. The products uses the INVICTUS chipset which guarantees maximum efficiency between distant links. The Xtreme Range Technology allows for the creation of bridges over long distances (even up to 200 km). The versatile configuration means that it can be tailored to the needs of the user. The device works perfectly even in places with many radio links.
